Those of us who remember Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s planned filmed  Bajirao Mastani  announced way back in 2003 may recall that it was going to star Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, but the movie never panned out over the years and SLB went on to make  Black, Saawariya  and  Guzaarish . The exciting buzz on the Bolly block is that the project is being re-started with a brand new coup of a cast. Kareena Kapoor has always been respected for her dedication to her work and it appears Kareena is turning to  The Dirty Picture  for inspiration.  Kareena was spotted at a special screening for the film and its is rumored that Bebo was so zapped by Vidya’s performance that she has given permission for Madhur Bhandarkar to go all out for her new film  Heroine . It is believed that Heroine follows similar lines of  The Dirty Picture  chronicling the rise and fall of Bollywood actress. A source close to the production revealed that there had been some scenes earlier that the actress had felt uncomfortable about but since seeing Vidya’s dare-bare performance, she has now given the go ahead for all such sequences to be filmed.  The source goes on to say “She doesn’t want to hold back. Though a small budgeted film,'Beautiful' featuring Jayasuriya, Anoop Menon and MegnaRaj made  an impressive opening across 46 centres in Kerala.The movie also made to select centres in Chennai and Bangalore. Directed by V K Prakash in the scripts of Anoop Menon, the movie witnessed encouraging collections, and reviews all around are impressive. Telling the story about the intense bonding of two friends, one laid in bed and other a musician, the interval and climax punches are greeted with standing ovation in almost all the release centres. The movie which is just below two hours is expected to do well and is now listed as the best from its director, who usually plays techno-games and experiments with his viewers. The movie also have few good songs by Ratheesh Vega and quality cinematography by Jomon T john.

The eye-opener movie which impressed one and all nationwide will soon be seen on an international scale... Talks are that Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 2009 blockbuster '3 Idiots' is going to have a Hollywood remake. According the producer they are discussing the deal for the remake with three studios in Hollywood and one company in Italy. As matter of fact, '3 Idiots' is releasing next week in China and surprisingly, nearly 900 prints! Considering it to be first for a Hindi film to release so many prints in China, Vidhu added further, "It is also being adapted into a stage musical in Taiwan. The film has already made about USD 3 million dollars in Hong Kong." Besides, the film is being remade in Chinese by 'Kung Fu Hustle' filmmaker Stephen Chow. The song is not only a hit in India, but also within the Asian communities in UAE, America and Europe.
